National Motorcycle and Tattoo Show

This past weekend was the 31st annual National Motorcycle and Tattoo Show, which was held at the Better Living Center in the CNE grounds.
It started as a cloudy day, but soon the sun was out, which was perfect for a motorcycle show!

And what show would be complete without some motorcycle chicks, brought to you by the local Hooters!

There were lots of bikes on display at the show, including an Interstate Batteries bike,

And this red fire bike!

and a very cool looking copper bike.

One big badass trike was also on display!

And Spartucus was also on display.

The guys that build these bikes do some amazing things with either the shape of the bike,

or the amazing paint jobs they can do!

And with these amazing projection lights, the fronts of these bikes take on a certain life of their own!

The show also had lots of items for sale, from the bottom of the bike,

to the very top of the bike!

Also on hand were the Chrome Diva's, who along with members of the Toronto Roller Derby, did a charity calendar to raise money for Prostate Cancer charity.

One of my favourite bikes was the First Special Services, or the Devils Brigade. The block bike was accented with the shoulder patch of these special forces members, made up of both Canadian and American troops, in battle during WWII.

2 wheel models

One thing you can always find at the Motorcyle show is Models, and I don't mean the newest version of the bikes, I mean the flesh and blood versions!

One group that can always be counted on is Amsoil, as they are at a lot of shows with models, including these four!

Honda had a few models, including one of my favourites, Theresa, a model/sunshine girl who I've seen around lots of shows in Toronto.

Lots of other booths had some models as well!

Motorcylce Show

The Metro Convention Centre was filled with motorcycles of every description, from small childrens bikes, to large riding bikes, to a bunch of three wheelers, and all the equipment needed to play with these toys!

I'm always amazed at just how big bikers are now adays.
My memory of bikes is always of small versions, but now, they are huge beasts!

Ducati bikes had a large presence at the show.

All the bikes were shinny new, and lined up to show off their lines.

Honda also sponsored a BMK bike zone, where a group of 6 riders impressed the crowds with their skills,

including a jump over the host!

motorcycle show

Although it's winter, you can still get your summer fix by attending the various shows in the area.
This past weekend, it was the motorcycle super show at the International Center.
It was a combination of new bikes,

used items, lots of clothes, and some pretty nice custom bikes.

And of course, at a show like this, there are lots of models around,

including one I've met a few times, Theresa Longo
