Budweiser Pit Girl contest

The Toronto Sun was holding another Pit Girl contest at the Indy this year. The plan was that the winner would have a chance to present the IZOD Indy winner their trophy.
8 Girls were on hand for the contest, and they spend Friday and most of Saturday travelling around the grounds of the Indy, promoting the event.





At about 4 in the afternoon, they all headed to the Bud stage to strut their stuff.



Asked a few questions, they then performed a "helmet hair toss" for the crowd, which certainley appreciated the effort!







Eventually the second and third place winners ,Christina Crupi and Michelle Tim





joined winner Ashley Drew on stage, while the crowd roared their approval!


Ashley was there in Victory Lane, ready to join Dario, the winner of the Honda Indy.

Girls of Indy

ONe of the highlites of the Honda Indy is the multitude of women who work at the various booths throughout Thunder Alley at the indy.
Front and centre were the Bud girls.









and another great group of women were the Shick razor girls, giving out free razors and seat cushions.







There was also lots of Shoeless Joe girls walking the grounds.









And one of them certainly had an interesting cell phone holder!



And what would a hot weekend be without the Toronto Sun girls!











And there were lots of other girls from various companies.













And since its the Indy weekend, alson on hand were IZOD Trophy Girl Cameron Haven,



as well as Go Daddy driver Danica Patrick

Tailgate Party

Although there was no sign of a parking lot of trucks (which you kind of need for a tailgate party!), there were lots of people taking in the Bills in Toronto event, right before the game at the Skydome (ok, its a new name, but since I hate their cable/internet/wireless business, its staying Skydome to me!)






For a few hours, Budweiser girls were giving out beer, and cooking treats for the fans.










Taking advantage of the situation, Steam Whistle Brewing was out drumming up business.

Da Bills!

This year the Buffalo Bills have been coming up to Canada for some games. As there is a game coming up November 7, they had a fan fest down at Yonge Dundas Square.
Now, I'm no big fan of US football, but if the Bills are in town, then so are the Jills!










Here they are joined by the Bills mascot, Billy Buffalo.



As it was the day before Halloween, there were lots of people in costume in the square, include two twin girls,


a woman who probably has a bit of a headache,



Bat Girl and her friend,



and a fluffy german sheppard!



And of course, if there's football stuff going on, then there's likely to be Bud Girls around, and today was no exception!

Two of them took part in the bungee game as well!









And if that wasn't enough, there were lots of Bills Girls who were keeping all the games running!
